POLIS


THE GREEK POLIS



 A polis is a city in Greece. They are join by the language, the culture and religion. They are building in elevated places that help in the defenses and they are protected by walls.

ACROPOLIS:
is the place more elevated in the city.
PORT:
the port was situated far away from the city. The ships take there the commmodity.
AGORA:
is the public square where is the market.
FARMLANDS:
place where produce the crop.
ASTY:
main villa in the city. Is the low city and the poblation lives.
THEATRE:
born in Atica by the dances and the choirs.
STOA:
are the hollways in the square.
TEMPLE:
they are situated in elevated places.

The most importan polis are:
-Atenas
-Esparta

GREECE: WHAT IS IT: Is an independant city in the politic, economic and territorial areas. There are together for linguistic, cultural and religial ranks.
